Severn Valley Railway Steam gala 6th-8thMarch 2009.
The latest gallery update on my website includes the pictures from the Severn Valley Railway steam gala taken last weekend. The gala featured a fine collection of large express trains from all regions & 2 trains from the home fleet. Even though these large trains provide wonderful subjects they dont look right on single line railways…….There just to big, i fully understand that the paying public are drawn to the railway’s by the big names and famous engines. But even so they still look silly whilst standing at small branchline stations….Do you agree or not?
