Nice set of shots. On the basis I know there's more lurking in your website it must have been a hard choice to get down to these ten!

Hi Jon, I'm really enjoying your recent photos and although I'm no expert I reckon your offerings are getting better and better. Great stuff, keep it up!
It looks like I'll see you on the Matt Allen/Warwick Falconer charter with 80072 at the Churnet Valley.

Happy New Year

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the comments. The whole website thing has been buzzing in my head for ages now. Alot of the new tenchniques im learning are from a guy whos been "coaching me" on train photography but add an "arty" dimension to it when the light fails. Many guys will pack up and go home but i love the diffused light you get it allows you to play with mono shots and use shape & form instead of colour...Alot of the effects are done in photoshop but i go to the railways now with things buzzing in my head, that i want rather than just going for the day out! Im realy pleased with the images to date, ive got hundreds to do if i include the wildlife aswell........
The website itself is based on wordpress and the theme was a free download, but i have found that due to poor compliance in the code that the front page image becomes a little confused when its viewed with other browsers...I have used IE7...There seems to be poor control in code writing etc. So ive found some themes that are more w3c and im about to load them in to have a preview on how they will improve the robustness to these other browsers.
Theres a clever script that disables the right click function (again Mike has helped me there) The missed water mark was a error by me, its the last task i do in photoshop before i upload them. i must ammend that cheers for reminding me! The image size's are small just 650 or 450 pix depending on orientation. This limits the images to postcard size...
I haven't even thought about offering them for sale but i know poeple who do.....

Thanks for the + comments. Pass it on if you others who might be interested.
